Day 6 – A picture of a person I’d like to trade places with for a day
MY MARINE!
I always wanted to know what it would be like to be a Marine. I would love to be in his shoes, just for a day to see what work is like. To see what kind of stress and responsibility he faces every day. I want to know whats it’s like to wear that uniform and carry all that gear. I want to know what it takes. To fully understand you have to walk in a person’s shoes. As a wife I try to understand, I try to get a sense of what it’s like, but that’s all I can do. And if I’m taking his life for a day, I’d like him to take mine for a day! I want him to go to a civilian job, and college, and cook, and clean, etc. I’m not saying my duties are hard, they’re just a challenge in a different way. It’d be a fun experience for both of us :)
